RCCAC Volunteers

Volunteers are the Key to our Success!

Would you like to help your Community Arts Center by becoming a volunteer? Many hands make light work and we would love for you to join our volunteer force. There are no meetings to attend - just a great opportunity to work with other wonderful people like you. Volunteers help with baking cookies, making dinner for concert performers, hosting receptions, setting up for concerts, assisting in the office, putting up flyers/posters, hanging exhibits, greeting guests, serving as exhibit docents, folding programs, preparing mailings, and assisting teachers.

Kathie Karriker, one of the Arts Center's Volunteer Committee Chairpersons, has done a super job tracking our volunteer hours and has come up with the incentive awards listed below.  So, please, be sure you record your hours when you deliver the goodies—or any other time you work on our behalf.  It is always fun to have little goals to achieve and we are always happy to reward your generosity.  We have wonderful concerts and classes for which you can redeem your precious hours.

Volunteer Incentives

  • 25 volunteer hours = $15 off of one class  OR one evening concert ticket
  • 50 volunteer hours = $30 off of one class  OR two evening concert tickets
  • 75 volunteer hours = $45 off of one class  OR three evening concert tickets
  • 100 volunteer hours = $60 off of one class  OR four evening concert tickets

Note: Volunteers may exchange one evening series ticket for two family series tickets.  Incentives are a reward for our volunteers’ generosity.  The hours and benefits are not transferable.

How to redeem your hours:

  1. Take your volunteer hours sheet (or the whole book) to Debbie Sturm in the office.
  2. Tell her how many hours you want to redeem and for what incentive.
  3. She will note on your page that you have redeemed the specified number of hours and note any carry over in the accumulated hours box.
  4. Return your page to the book and the book back to its place in the kitchen.

If you are interested in joining the Arts Center’s volunteer list, please contact the RCCAC office at 637-2355 or send email to info@randolpharts.org.

Thank You 2011 - 2012 Volunteers!
