'Bring a Friend' offers discounts for classes, camps
The Randolph County Community Arts Center invites you to bring a friend to the Arts Center with the “Bring a Friend” program. We want everyone in the community to know about all the wonderful activities, concerts, and classes the Arts Center offers and to make the Arts Center a part of their life!
The Bring a Friend discount allows anyone who registers for a regularly priced class or summer camp to sign up a friend for half price. Payment for both students is due at the time of registration. Credit and debit cards will be accepted over the phone. The Bring a Friend discount applies to most classes and camps. Pottery classes are not eligible for this discount at this time.
“We are thrilled to be headed into our 11th year of programming and we have a tremendous base of dedicated supporters,” RCCAC Executive Director Beth King said. “That said, there are still many people in the community that have not had the opportunity to attend one of our events and see what we have to offer. We want more of the community to know what goes on behind these big stone walls at the Arts Center as well as in our outreach programs that extend into the community. We want everyone in the community to take advantage of what we have to offer. We truly have something for just about everyone!”
The Arts Center began its first year of programming in the summer of 2002 with free arts classes in the City Park, two concerts, and two exhibits. Now, annually, RCCAC provides the community with 24 concerts each year in the Evening Concert Series, the Family Concert Series, the Free Monthly Brown Bag Concert Series and the RCCAC Outreach Program for area schools and community groups. In addition, each year the Arts Center hosts a Spoken Word Series and 14 art exhibits in two galleries and provides year-round arts and music education opportunities for more than 700 students of all ages.
