The RCCAC has three concert options:
2010-2011 Evening Concert Series
Dan Kamin * Funny Bones
Friday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m.
The internationally acclaimed performer renowned for training Robert Downey, Jr. and Johnny Depp for their physical comedy roles, deconstructs Chaplin's comedy with film clips, live demonstrations, audience participation, and a classic Chaplin short with live musical accompaniment.
Dan Kamin * Comedy in Motion
Saturday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Kamin uses physical and verbal comedy to take you on a hilarious tour of the performing arts, lampooning everyone from pompous opera singers to sleazy magicians. It's a wicked evening of satirical fun by a "demented, charming and brilliant" performer.
Orrin Evans Quartet
Saturday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Evans has been praised in print as “the clear-cut best pianist of his time.” The 1999 Thelonius Monk Competition winner incorporates a mix of standard jazz and original compositions featuring an electric jazz/funk band with vocals, horns and guitar.
Red Clay Ramblers
Saturday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The Tony Award-winning Red Clay Ramblers are a North Carolina string band whose repertoire reflects their roots in old-time mountain music, as well as bluegrass, country, rock, New Orleans jazz, gospel, and the American musical.
Word-Beat!
Saturday, January 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Word-Beat will present “The Legacy of Langston Hughes”, combining the inspirational texts of Hughes with world percussion. The two artists are both dedicated educators presenting concerts and clinics throughout the world.
Joanna Pascale Quartet
Saturday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Joanna Pascale will present “The Great American Songbook,” chosen from her 500-song repertoire. Since emerging onto Philadelphia’s jazz scene, Pascale has established herself as a compelling and skilled vocalist. According to All Music Guide, “She not only has solid vocal chops; she has soul.”
Todd Burge & the Odd Urges
Saturday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Over the last decade, Todd Burge has played everything from Alternative Rock to Bluegrass, performing over 150 shows per year in venues as diverse as CBGB’s and the Kennedy Center. Burge is a regular guest on Public Radio’s “Mountain Stage” and has been called the “dean of WV songwriters, the best we have,” by the show’s host, Larry Groce.
Clipper Erickson
Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Pianist Clipper Erickson will present “The American Journey.” After making his orchestral debut at age 19, in Los Angeles, Erickson began performing as a soloist with orchestras and in recital throughout the United States. His moving playing also has echoed through some of the most famous concert venues in the world, including the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the Kennedy Center in Washington.

Family Concert Series
Drew the Dramatic Fool
Saturday, December 4 at 7 p.m.
Drew the Dramatic Fool reinvents the ancient art of brilliant bumbling. Inspired by the traditions of jesters, comedians, cartoons and clowns, Drew offers amusement relevant for today‘s audiences by giving them laughter built on a range of human emotions, from joy to fear to despair and back to joy again.
Word-Beat!
Saturday, January 29 at 4 p.m.
Word-Beat combines the artistry of singer/actor Charles Williams and global-jazz percussionist Tom Teasley. This afternoon performance of “Games, Songs, and Lullabies from Around the World” will feature inventive percussive rhythms and melodies.
Kit's Interactive Theater
Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
Kit’s Interactive Theatre will present “The Civil War”, featuring Kitty Jones as Charlotte Beauregard, a fictitious upper class Southern Belle. The show provides students with a greater understanding of life during the Civil War. Kitty Jones writes, choreographs, produces and performs all of her material for. She has been developing her original style of interactive theatre since 1987 and has combined her passion for history and love of theatre to create high-energy shows.

All tickets are $5. Family Passes are $20 and admit 2 adults and 4 children.
