Since STAG was organized in 1962, the goals have remained the same, bringing together professional and beginning artists of all levels, all mediums, to practice fine arts in a shared interest of fellowship. This includes mini-workshops by members or guest instructors, to introduce new techniques, share art info, and stimulate the creative process. Seneca Trail Artists Guild continues to promote two exhibits a year, The Fall Juried Show at the Arts Center, formerly Forest Festival Juried Art Show, (which it started 60 years ago) and a judged members spring show formerly at the Federal Building lobby. This exhibit provides an opportunity for the emerging artists to experience to process participating in a art show.
