https://www.tuckerfoundation.net/run/

April 1, 2022, Team registration begins, and you can create your account online. Go to the website above and click on “Entry Form” to the right, then click on “Register Online”, Click on “Register”

If you are a returning participant, then you use the same email and password as before. If new, create your account.

It will request you to choose a team. Our team name is The Gogh Arounds and the Team Captain Kurt Barkley. (this may change, depending on the schedule of the arts center.)

You do not have to do the race in person! You can do a “virtual” 2k walk or run on your own, and still be part of our team. The more team mates we have, the more awards we are eligible for. There is even “most youngest team mate” Right now, we have a 10 yo, so feel free to register your kids. Check out the award categories!

There is a $10 registration fee. There is always a registration fee for any event like this! On a positive note, half of the registration fee will be donated to the arts center as an award!

September 24, 2022, at 11 am, in the town of Davis, WV, during the Leaf Peepers Festival. The 2k/5k walk run takes place. The 5k is USATF sanctioned and the course is for walkers and competitive runners, but speed is not required to win. (Again, you can still do virtual)

If you don’t want to join as a racer, please consider sponsoring one of our Team Mates or make a donation on behalf of our team! https://raceroster.com/events/2022/58941/2022-run-for-it/teams

The purpose of Run 4 It is to raise awareness and support for non profits, civic organizations and other charities, throughout many counties. The Tucker Community Foundation challenges participants to raise team support for the community cause of their choice during the Run For It 2022 campaign and then run or walk for that cause. The event raises funds and awareness for community organizations, projects, nonprofit agencies, educational activities, and charities located within the Foundation’s service area (see map below). Speed is not required to win.

At its heart, RUN FOR IT has two goals:
1. To encourage participation in a healthy activity (running & walking).
2. To leverage funds for area causes.

Entry fee proceeds, team sponsor support, and cash awards benefit the racer's favorite:
* Non-profit organization
* Youth group
* Civic organization
* Public Library
* Community improvement project
* School project or educational trip
* School & community based athletic group
* Existing or new TCF Endowed Fund and other charitable causes
