Brantley Hyre

Brantley Hyre is an Elkins native and current medical student. He started painting during his time as an undergraduate at West Virginia Wesleyan College, using his love for drawing to enhance his biology notes. He then learned about drawing meditation and automatism, which opened up his artistic door. He would classify his art style as abstract realism. He enjoys utilizing watercolor and ink but also loves experimenting with other mediums. He finds inspiration in nature and biology and enjoys incorporating all aspects of these elements into his art.
