Ballad-singer Jane Birdsong is back on the Arts Center stage for the April Brown Bag concert at noon on Wednesday,

 April 19. Old mountain ballads are Jane's specialty, with tragic themes of murder, outlaws, unrequited love, some humorous and some practical advice.   She will accompany her songs with guitar, autoharp & dulcimer.  Jane has been singing old mountain ballads since she was 7, and has also performed with bluegrass, folk and blues bands over her many years of music making.
