The Arts Center hosts a musician every third Wednesday of the month. From Noon to 1 pm, bring your lunch and friends, and enjoy live music! Chris Lovejoy and Josh Wanstreet share a deep appreciation for traditional songs and tunes from West Virginia, as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where they first met in a class. Chris plays music up and down the Appalachian mountains, and makes his home in Beverly. He regularly plays with “That High Country Revival” out of Charleston, WV and likes to sneak in duets and solo shows when he can. Josh’s love for traditional, old-time music was first developed in 1995 while working at the Stonewall Jackson Jubilee Festival. Over the years he has taught private guitar and fiddle lessons, and performed regularly throughout West Virginia. He resides in Elkins.
