January Brown Bag Concert

  • The Arts Center 2 PARK ST ELKINS, WV 26241 US (map)

Featuring… Cassidy Dickens! 12-1, FREE ENTRY!

Marrying a powerful sense of traditional Appalachian storytelling with a modern folk sound, West Virginian artist Cassidy Dickens brings a “unique fusion of vulnerability, resilience, unguarded sincerity, and soul-stirring melodies” to the world of acoustic Americana (HONK MAGAZINE).

Soon after releasing her debut album, Ghosts, in 2015, Cassidy made the leap from small-town West Virginia to Music City, where she cut her teeth collaborating with up-and-coming Nashville recording artists and earned a Josie Music Award nomination for her songwriting.

Drawing cross-genre comparisons, Cassidy’s voice and songwriting style have been likened to artists ranging from Alison Krauss to Alanis Morisette.

Today—with more than 15 years of touring, 7 years of professional songwriting, three albums, and several singles under her belt—she’s thrilled to be back at home in the Mountain State.

Her newest album, “All I’m Missing”, was inspired by this journey back home, with songs that call back to the people and places that first inspired her music career. All I’m Missing released November 15, 2024 and is available for streaming on all major music platforms.

“Wholesome indie-folk delight… with folklorish charm and masterful storytelling.”

“...Her voice washes over you like a warm summer breeze—pure, intense, and charming.”
—EDGAR ALLAN POETS

“Her powerful nature and authentic, intimate appeal make for a truly rousing listening experience.” —CLOUT
