Featuring… Whistler’s Children and Found Harmony

Whistlers Children is a recorder trio featuring soprano, alto and bass recorders. We explore Medieval, Baroque and Renaissance styles of music. Performers include: Katy McClane on soprano, Mary Smakula on alto and Craig Stihler on bass recorder. Craig also writes arrangements for our recorder trio. Our Brown Bag Concert at the Art Center will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at noon. Bring your lunch; enjoy free coffee and homemade cookies during the concert while you listen to the cheerful and uplifting sounds of reorder music in the first half of the program. Found Harmony will be featured in the second half of the program. This duet features Richard McClane on vocals, guitar and fiddle and Katy McClane on flute and vocals. We enjoy sharing folk and Americana styles of music.

Our Brown Bag Concerts take place every third Wednesday of the month, from 12-1PM in the Great Hall at RCCAC. Entry is free, lunch is encouraged, and conversations are delightful.
