Job Description:
ARTS EDUCATION INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Overview: The Arts Education Intern provides support to the Arts Education Department at The Arts Center. This could include assisting with our summer art camp program, After School Art Program during the school year, and arts education opportunities with scheduling art classes, concerts, sound/lighting, gallery opportunities and more. The department offers the opportunity to assist with program planning and other important tasks in preparation of all forms of art.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning and management of educational programs including classes, workshops and camps
Assist as a classroom aide in camps and classes
Assist with concerts- sound, lighting, and more
Oversee the art registration process
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Current student (high school and college accepted)
Knowledge of Arts Education a plus
Adhere to the Arts Centers Child Protection Policy and other policies
Obtain clearances: Criminal Record Background Check that adheres to our Child Protection Policy. The Arts Center will assist you in obtaining these clearances if needed.

Schedule:
Days and hours are flexible, but a set schedule will be determined and must be met.
Compensation:
This is a non-paid position. One free class per session!
