From the artist… “For many years I have done experimental art; exploring new techniques, subjects and getting involved in my work to expand my vision. I use my expressive capabilities and imagination to create the unique or uncommon idea. In my paintings I try to evoke emotion, convey a message, dramatize or use some special effect. My resource of personal experience helps me to produce a work of thought and imagination. I have a passion for nature but respond to its mysterious and spiritual qualities. I paint both objective and nonobjective art. By casting an aesthetic veil over reality I am able to create an individual and uncommon perspective. I exercise intellectual discipline and technical control to make the painting unique and special. I weave aspects of abstraction and realism throughout the painting. I keep basic design principals in mind to build a sense of body and depth.”
