Imaginary Journey, Painting a Story Scroll

Time: 9-12 and 1-4, break for lunch
This is an all-day workshop
$5 to the instructor for additional supplies she is bringing. All other supplies included.
Take an expressive, imaginary journey, visualizing and painting images and expressing feelings with unusual painting implements. This is a FUN personal exploration with guidance from the instructor. Tailored to the student's preference of realistic or abstract. Any level welcome. What better way to spend a Saturday creating with friends!
Students will study and create Asian Scroll Paintings that depict travels, adventures, or everyday events. According to Rhudy, the paintings can be "realistic, abstract, or anything in between. I would like this to be a fun personal exploration for each person." Rhudy will lead students on a relaxing imaginary visual journey and then demonstrate scroll painting techniques using acrylic paints, sponges, sponge brushes, and other nontraditional tools.
